Me: Not fat la, it's his winter fur la....
WTF, I am not fat, I am fit.
This year's Winter seemed to pass pretty quickly for me. Maybe because I am working and dating and vacationing. Maybe I shouldn't be doing too many things at the same time. I also feel this winter isn't particularly cold as I have invested a heavy sum in winter wear and have learned the wise ways of sleeping between fleece. Fleece up the window, fleece on bed sheet and fleece underneath doona. Keeps me warm all night long.
Somehow uncle's veggie and fruits aren't doing too well. First the persimmon went on strike and we have no persimmons this year. Then the mandarin orange shrink its fruits. They are sooo small this year. Fortunately uncle's orchids are still as beautiful as ever.
I also notice our neighbor's peonies are blooming. Nature's way of reminding you of season change. Spring coming next month and with that irritating magpies and bird shit.
Still I love Spring.
